January Favourites!

Seeing as January is nearing an end, I've decided to do my January Favourites. This is going to become a regular post on my blog as it enables you to see what I have loved in this month. So without further ado let's get into it!

1) Batiste Dry Shampoo - Light and Blonde - £2.95
After hearing rave reviews on dry shampoos I decided that I would give in and purchase one. Batiste is a brand that I hear mentioned a lot when reading beauty blogs and watching YouTube videos, so I was intrigued to find out what all the hype was about. This one in particular has done wonders for my hair. Prior to buying it I felt the need to wash my hair at least once a day; however what I didn't realise was that I was removing all of the natural oils from my hair. Now I wash my hair every other day and spray this in on the day that I don't wash it. I have noticed that my hair is now much healthier and without so many of the split ends. This month it has been a savior, the cold weather has been making my hair lifeless and dull. This has spruced it up and given it a bit of much need oomph.

2) Hollister Body Mist - Crystal Cove - £12
This is another product that I bought after hearing the hype surrounding it. Many of my friends have these and to begin with I didn't understand why. I assumed that everyone had them due to them being from the popular brand Hollister. However, after smelling them I immediately understood. Its fruity scent of kiwis and strawberries makes you feel happy. The packaging is simplistic yet effective and I have fallen head over heels in love with it. This month I have been suffering from the January Blues and this body mist has brightened me up and left me feeling naturally happy.

3) Body Shop Body Butter - Wild Cherry - £13
This body moisturiser has been a life saver this month. The cold weather has left my skin feeling dehydrated, flaky and in desperate need of a pick me up; this product has done just the job. Wild Cherry is a scent that leaves me feeling fresh and rejuvenated and I thoroughly enjoy using this product because of this. Its buttery texture leaves the skin feeling soft and smooth and provides 24-hour hydration. I have quite a few body butters, but recently this is the only one I have been reaching for.

4) Benefit They're Real Mascara - Black - £18.50
This is yet another product that I bought after hearing rave reviews. Everyone who is interested in beauty will have heard of this. With its unique wand it is perfect for extending the outer lashes and giving your eye a lift. It has an amazing formula that isn't too wet or too dry and is really easy to remove at the end of the day. This month my eyes have been quite puffy and I have found that this counteracts it by taking the attention away from it.

5) MAC Lipstick - Speed Dial - £14
MAC has quickly become my favourite brand of lipsticks and this colour is definitely one of the best. For me it is a 'my lips but better' colour and I love it. Its cremesheen formula is moisturizing has a lovely glossy finish. It also has a lovely chocolaty scent to it which makes it even more appealing. This month it has been the perfect lipstick because it moisturizes my dry lips in this cold weather and it looks natural in comparison to the dark reds I was wearing in the latter part of last year.

So these are all of my favourites for January 2013. I hope you enjoyed this post and that you have found some products which interest you.

Why hello there!

Hi there, I'm Becki. This is my first blog and first post and I just wanted to let everyone know what to expect on here in the near future. I am a teenage girl who over the past 2 years, has got super into fashion and beauty so you can expect a lot of fashion and beauty based posts. As well as that, I will probably do daily updates if I do anything interesting or weekly posts if it has been a dull week.
Oh and when I post any images, they probably won't be of the best quality until I get my new camera (fingers crossed!).Well, I think that is it for now, if anyone wants to follow me on twitter, just click here.
